
Professor Morten L. Kringelbach
Professor Kringelbach is the founding director of the "Centre for Eudaimonia and Human Flourishing" at Linacre College, University of Oxford which convenes and fosters an interdisciplinary team of scientists and artists. He is also Professor of Neuroscience and co-founder of "Center for Music in Brain", Aarhus University, Denmark.
He is interested in understanding hedonia (pleasure) and eudaimonia (the life well-lived) through diverse experiences including cuteness, food, music, psychedelics and meditation. His research uses advanced neuroimaging, neurosurgical and whole-brain modelling methods to understand brain function together with his team and international collaborators.
